The stories of their takeovers were legendary. They would sail up to an enemy’s ship as silent as a windless night, without a sound to be heard. The crew would come from below, scaling the sides as if weightless and unencumbered; their swords in their mouths as they climbed, awaiting their Captain’s command. Then, in an instant, he would give the order to strike! With nothing but his bone knife in hand, he would slice through his foes while making a line straight for their Captain. And in no time flat, the ship and all its treasure would be theirs.
Rumors are that they buried much of the treasure on a hidden and remote island. They say his fortune is great and vast. Should he ever have a large enough army to follow him, his power could be unstoppable.
