What is it?
Wardens: A Cosmicist Odyssey is a 2 to 4 player, post-apocalyptic adventure set in a Lovecraftian steampunk universe. One player will take the role of Cthulthu and his legion of Star-Spawn and spread madness over what is left of humanity, attempting to control the Wardens.
The other player(s) join in as the Wardens as they face an epic, final journey across a ravished world. Each Warden focuses on a specific type of gameplay, Exploration, Combat, or Support, with asymmetric player boards and unique gameplay styles to go along with their unique units and minis.
Melee combat uses a custom rock-paper-scissors mechanic allowing players to battle continuously, depleting their enemies troops or reinforcing their own.
Exploration is done in a highly thematic and completely unique elimination based deduction mechanic where players will have to attempt to outsmart Cthulhu while he attempts to get inside their minds and select actions they will least expect.
Can the Wardens find the Artifacts and unleash the power of the Elders, or will Cthulhu take control of their final shreds of humanity?
